Weaver Converta-Mounts allow you to mount a scope for slug shooting during big game season and easily remove it for regular shotgun use. Scope rings and bracket become a unit that attaches to the semi-permanent side base which is mounted on the receiver using specially designed case-hardened screws. The entire assembly (scope rings and bracket) can be quickly removed by loosening two large thumb screws on the bracket. When re-mounted scope maintains previous settings and remains sighted in.
The side base and bracket are machined from high-strength lightweight aluminum alloy. Non-glare matte-black finish is elecrostatically bonded to the metal to form a hard ship-resistant surface. Instructions for specific mounting procedures are included.- Turns your shotgun into a big game gun
