Our version is based on the Russian AK-103 which was one of the last designs overseen directly by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is chambered in 7.62×39mm and provides the consumer with the traditional round chosen by the Russian Army for decades. Like the AK-103 our semi-auto KR-103 incorporates many of the upgrades first introduced in the AK-74 (e.g. side optic rail improved muzzle brake) while retaining the 7.62x39mm chambering. Our KR-103 accepts a wide variety of furniture and accessories compatible with the AKM and AK-74.
